George led 24 birders down toward Vero Beach only to find out that the Wetlands were closed due to animal control problems.  We never found out if the problem was an alligator or an infected rodent or some sick critter.

We changed our plans to an alternate location at TM Goodwin where the group collectively saw 44 species.  All in all a beautiful and productive morning.
