- New Limpkin Format
SCAS Board of Directors announce that due to the growing expense of printing an 8-page newsletter (~$600/issue), we are going to a 4-page format for the remainder of the year. We are currently exploring the option of receiving the Limpkin electronically vs. by mail, and the best way to manage the monthly mailing list from National Audubon to reflect those choices. If anyone has any comments or suggestions, please contact Jason or Kathy Frederick or Dee Fairbanks-Simpson.
- Sam Mayo
SCAS is sad to announce the dealth in January of Sam Mayo, husband of Mary-Helen, and longtime member of Audubon. He also belonged to the Orchid Society and the Bonsai Club. Sam will be missed by all that knew him.
