Larry Manfredi to Speak At October 17th MeetingBy Ken CollinsLarry Manfredi, south Florida native and current resident of Homestead, Florida, will be our noted speaker this evening! Larry is the operator of Birding Tours Inc , and is renowned in the enviro-tourism industry as a prolific "leader" in allowing many of us birding folks to add rare species notations to our life lists. In addition he possesses expertise in related native flora and fauna within the environment. This evening his focus will be upon Bird Migration Hotspots! Yes, the wonderful season of Fall is upon us, and as all of my fellow birders are aware, this is our favorite time of the year! Well, early Spring is nice too, but oftentimes I find myself feeling sad to see so many of our feathered winter visitors leaving us so soon to return to their permanent residences. We owe our sister chapter, Orange County Audubon, a debt of gratitude for their assistance in helping us have Larry as our event speaker. Please put this announcement (and time) in whatever you employ as a "calendar planner," and join us for a valuable presentation on finding "those places" where our visiting feathered friends hang out!
