Beginning Bird Watching Trips

By Jason Frederick, President of SCAS

So, you joined Audubon because you love birds, but you don't know how to identify them. Maybe you're the bird watcher, but that other person in your life has no idea what you are looking at. Lastly, maybe you classify yourself as a beginner and just want to improve your skills.

Well, your wishes have been answered. Back by popular demand, the return of the Beginning Bird Watching field trips. A quick 2 hour trip that doesn't start at dawn and you are encouraged to ask questions and learn tips and tricks to identifying birds.

Trips will be offered at 9am and 3pm. Bird watchers of all levels and ages are welcomed and as always, the trips are free. So, grab your binoculars or borrow one of ours, a field guide, and a friend. Don't have a friend to bring? We will give you one of ours.
