SCAS Welcomes Jamie Drake to December General Meeting

Please join us on the evening of December 14 for a presentation by self described nature addict and SCAS board member, Jamie Drake. Jamie's interests began with animals and has spread into nature in general. She originally set out to be a Veterinarian, settled on being a Certified Veterinary Technician and is now almost finished with a degree in Natural Resources with a minor in Fish and Wildlife. She is a Florida native and is passionate about preserving what's left of this amazing place. In the past year, she worked as a research associate on the Caracara Survey that covered all of Brevard County.

States Drake, "I gained so much knowledge and experience that I can't wait to do more and share what I know. In my future I hope to do further work with the Caracara and other un-famous Florida species and also would like to explore using new technology for wildlife research." Please join us for what is sure to be an exciting and educational evening.
