October Field Trips Why and What ForBy Jason FrederickOctober is fall migration time for warblers and other woodland birds. The field trips this month are primarily in hopes of finding them. Hawks, eagles, and falcons have made or are making their way down and sightings of them will start increasing. If you have the stomach for it, pelagic birds are also increasing. Waterfowl begin start making their way into the state as well. |
