Jr. Safe Boating Course
M-Tu-W, June 4 - 6, 9:00-11:30 a.m.
M-Tu-W, July 16-18, 9:00-11:30 a.m.
Attendance at the 3-day course is required to obtain a Boating Safety Education ID card, as required by FL State Law to operate a boat.
Ages: 9-17 years
Cost: $6/pp -register early!

Marine Adventure Camps!
Kids can join 1 of 5 different camps exploring the marine adventures surrounding us! Specific details for each camp can be found on our website at www.satellitebeach.org/Recreation/RecFlyer.htm or at the SB Recreation Dept. A info packet will be provided upon registration about camper information and destinations.
Note: Locations are subject to change!
Ages: 8-13yrs
Cost: $100 (bring their lunch & drink daily except Friday)
Camp 1, June 4-8, 8am-4pm
Camp 2, June 11-15, 8am-4pm
Camp 3, July 9-13, 8am-4pm
Camp 4, July 16-20, 8am-4pm
Camp 5, July 30-Aug 3, 8am-4pm

Location: Vans leave at 8am-from the DRS Community Center 1089 S Patrick Dr and return between 4-5pm.

Marine Biology Research Camps!
Hop aboard the 40-ft pontoon boat, the Miss Ariel, for an exploration of the marine environment along the Indian River Lagoon. We will spend 2 days aboard the vessel, conducting experiments, catching critters, & learning about the lagoon. On the remaining 3 days, we will explore other areas of the Indian River Lagoon, as well as the ocean. Bird Watching 101
Take the opportunity on Saturdays during the month of July to tour Samsons Island with avid birdwatcher and volunteer naturalist Richard Santangelo. Free public boat transportation leaves from the SB Fire Dept. dock each Saturday 7:30am and returning about 10:30am. Due to boat size - limited to the first 12 enrollees. (Bring your binoculars if you have them!)

Sea Turtle Walks
The Sea Turtle Preservation Society offers guided Sea Turtle Walks on Monday and Wednesday evenings from June 4 - July 30. They meet at the Pelican Beach Clubhouse and it usually runs from 8:30-9:30pm weather permitting. Please call 676-1701 to reserve a space. What a great event for the whole family!
