Newly Elected SCAS Officers

CONGRATULATIONS are in order for the newly elected slate of officers for our chapter for the 2007-2008 Fiscal year. Thank-you to all the members at the April 20 General Meeting who voted unanimously to elect the unopposed candidates. The officers-elect will begin their terms on June 1, 2007 and according to our by-laws, may be re-elected up to 3 years in a row.

The new officers are as follows: President: Jason Frederick, Co-Vice Presidents: Jim Meyer and Kathy Frederick, Treasurer: Sarah Linney, and Secretary: Madeline Klinko. A very special thank you to Madeline for adding a new face to the Board and to Kathy for bravely accepting nomination for VP.

A hearty thank-you to everyone who served this year as officers and board members: Sarah Linney, Jim Meyer, Jason Frederick, Betty McKeown, Russ Bentley (whose time was cut short by illness), Kathy Frederick, Jim Stahl, and Dee Fairbanks-Simpson. Welcome to all the new people who have agreed (so far) to join the Board of Directors: Matt Heyden, Lora Loci, Vicki Hamilton (Education, etc.) and Maureen Rupe (Conservation). Good luck to all in the new fiscal year!!
