SCAS Officer Nominations

This year, we only have one position that will be vacated. We are sorry to say that after many years on the board, Tom Atkinson has resigned. This leaves us with the position of Treasurer to fill. We have one nominee for the Treasurer position; Russ Bentley of Port St. John. Elections will be held at our May meeting. We are pleased to announce that the rest of our current officers will be staying on through the next year in their current capacities. Dee Fairbanks Simpson will be staying on as Limpkin Editor, but due to relocation will not continue as a board member.

It is imperitive that we replace the board members that we have lost over the past few years. Currently, there are very few of us running the entire show. We are in desparate need of new blood! We especially need people to work in the Membership, Conservation, and Education committees. If you are interested in joining the board, please contact Sarah Linney or any other current board member as soon as possible.
