Auction Items NeededBy Barb VenutoIt’s hard to believe another SCAS year is almost over. Our last meeting is May 20, which includes an auction. This has always been a very successful fund raiser. Please bring your money and join the fun. It is most effective if everyone brings an item. The variety of items make it interesting. In the past, gift certificates, books, plants, bird feeders, paintings, and crafts are most memorable. If you bring plants, please try to make sure that they are native! Please note an important change this year. The auction will be held at the Cocoa Civic Center, located in Cocoa Village. More details will be available in next month’s Limpkin, but make sure you save the date! If you can’t make it and want to contribute, call Dee Fairbanks (537-9270) or any other board member to make arrangements for your donations. |
