SCAS Welcomes Jamie C. Feddersen to November 12 General Meeting

Important: Please note that our meeting is the SECOND Friday in November, NOT the third! The meeting is November 12.

Please join us for our November general meeting where Jamie C. Feddersen, Associate Wildlife Biologist for the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, will present a talk about wood duck ecology in the southeastern United States. Topics to be covered include life history, habitat requirements, nesting ecology, and wood duck boxes. Jamie has been a Wildlife Biologist for the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission since 2001. Jamie heads up the waterfowl banding program, conducts aerial surveys, and is active in mottled duck and wetland habitat conservation. Prior to coming to Florida he has worked with waterfowl, turkeys, and deer in southern Illinois, and deer, rabbits, and other small mammals in New Hampshire.
