Birding World Series Needs Pledges

By Andy Bankert

This year I will be participating in the 21st Annual World Series of Birding. This event takes place on May 15 in New Jersey. My team, sponsored by Dixie Crossroads, will travel the whole state of New Jersey looking for over 200 species of birds. We will have the whole state scouted out, so we will know where the birds are.

The purpose of the World Series is to raise money for conservation. This is why I need you to pledge money to my team. All of the money I raise will either go to Merrit Island Wildlife Association, or Space Coast Audubon. If you are interested in pledging money to one of these organizations through the bird-a-thon contact me at 722-3397.

Thanks for your help.
