100 Friends of Audubon Fund Raiser

By Doug Stuckey

Because we do have the resources to run a Bird-a-Thon this year, we need you to help us raise money for land procurement and education. These are the two things most critical to our birds. We need to preserve land in its natural state or to restore it as it used to be. The land being developed is shrinking our birds natural habitat drastically.

We need to begin educating our children and grandchildren on the wonders of nature that is all around us. Many programs are in place now, but we need to continue to make progress each and every year.

We need at least 100 people to contribute $20 or more so that we can continue our educational programs and assist our other Audubon Chapters in land acquisition. We cannot do this without your help. Please give generously for your future. Special recognition will be given to each donor who gives $20 or more, so please specify on your check ”100 Friends of Audubon.”

Additional details will be in the May Limpkin. Thank you for helping!
