FNP April Meeting

By Travis MacClendon

The Conradina chapter of the Florida Native Plant Society will hold its monthly meeting on Monday, April 14, at the Melbourne Library on Fee St. at 7:00 p.m. The meeting is open to the public and admission is free. The speaker will be Sharon Dolan of Maple Street Natives nursery, who will speak on reducing sod areas by planting native plants. She will present a slide show about adding life to landscapes, reducing your need to irrigate and fertilize, attracting birds and butterflies, and bringing natural Florida landscapes to your yard. There will be a plant raffle and refreshments will be served. Call Martha (768-2472) or Travis (254-9769) for more information.
