Author Deborah Green to Speak at January General Meeting

On January 17, local author Deborah Green will present a slide show. Deborah has been an environmental educator in the Orlando area for the past 17 years. She has written and published three natural history guidebooks through her company Sabal Press (www.sabalpress.com): two on the Wekiva area, and now Paradise Preserved: Natural History Explorations Canaveral National Seashore and Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge (2002). She is currently working on A Naturalist’s Guide to Central Florida to be published by University Press of Florida. Deborah will present slides and share her observations on the wonderful preserved nature of Canaveral National Seashore and Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge. Books will be available for sale and autographing.
