Tosohatchee Wildlife Management Area Field Trip

April 9, 2017 @ 4:15 am - 8:00 am

Free

Audubon board members Matt Heyden, Lora Losi and Jim Stahl, a retired botanist, will be leading a bird and plant field trip to Tosohatchee WMA on Sunday April 9, 2017. We will meet at 8:15 am at the Cracker Barrel at I-95 & SR 50 (Exit # 215) in the south parking lot. The trip will be from 8:30-12:00. There is a $3.00 charge per car so carpooling is highly recommended. When car pooling, it is customary to provide gas money to the driver to help with their expense of driving. Wear appropriate clothing and comfortable shoes as there will be some walking as we explore varied habitats  looking for unique plants and birds. Be sure to pack a lunch and bring drinks. There will be a picnic after the walk with Space Coast Audubon providing dessert.  In addition, you might want to bring a bird and/or plant guide. Please RSVP Matt Heyden at [email protected] and ……

use our new RSVP tracker at the lower right side of this page to register for this event!
