Sunset on the Marsh, Solstice Picnic

Join Lora and Matt at Midway overlooking the St. John’s River. This is the long peninsula that juts out south from route 50. It’s across the street from the airboats. Here’s what we do: everyone brings their own chair and their own supper. Easy! We set the chairs up at the far end of the boat ramp area overlooking the marsh. You will want your binoculars and scope if you have one. We relax, eat, chat and bird. Note: I’m using a rain date of the following day…just in case. Bring heavy clothes if needed, and bug spray just in case. This is one of the best locations for a beautiful sunset that I know of. Everyone is welcome, so bring friends. We are not supposed to have alcohol at this park. This is a wonderful evening show of large masses of birds flying over. Email Matt at [email protected] if you have questions.
