Circle B Bar Field Trip

Space Coast Audubon Vice President, Mark Wallace, will be leading a Space Coast Audubon field trip to Circle B Bar, 4399 Winter Lake Rd in Lakeland, on March 2, 2019.

Circle B Bar is a premier birding location in central Florida. We expect to see lots of species including Limpkins and perhaps Snail Kites. The drive is approx 1.5 hours each way. We will meet and leave at 8:00 am sharp from Sam’s Club, 450 Townsend Rd, at I-95/SR 520. From there we will carpool to Circle B Bar.

This will be an all day trip and we should be back around 4:00 pm or earlier so I would suggest bringing lunch, drinks, snacks, sunscreen and bug spray (optional). Wear appropriate clothes based on the weather and wear comfortable footwear as there will be a several miles of walking over a flat dirt road. There are bathrooms located in the Visitors’ Center on site. Please email Mark at [email protected] if you have any questions.
