Birds and Brew

As a thank you to our Audubon members we are hosting our 2nd Birds and Brew field trip and social. We’ll bird at Viera Wetlands from 8:00 – 10:30am, then travel a short distance to Pizza Gallery in The Avenue shopping centre. From 11am – 1pm we’ll enjoy birder chat, raffles and share stories and photos of our birding experiences. Our Chapter will provide the pizzas and tea/water beverages. Alcoholic drinks will be available for purchase. Complimentary raffle prizes will provided to encourage participation and to meet other birders. . If you’re not already an Audubon member, we encourage you to sign up using the below link, which will also designate our Chapter, or you can join when we gather at the Pizza Gallery. For only $20 annually you’ll enjoy membership to both the National Audubon and our local chapter. We also welcome winter residents from other Audubon Chapters.

Birding: Meet at Viera Wetlands parking lot at 8:00am (Depending on conditions and the wetlands management plan we’ll determine if we’ll walk or drive through. If we drive, we will encourage car pooling and the Chapter will provide a radio for each car to communicate sightings and stopping points)
Social: Follow us from the wetlands or meet us at Pizza Gallery, 2250 Town Center Ave, Viera FL 32940 (ask to be directed to the group event room in the back)
